FIGHT HUNGER INITIATIVE

Jason Garrett Starfish Charities partners with Our Community Table, NJ Rise, the Princeton Mobile Food Pantry, Isles, Beauty Grove Primitive Baptist Church, and TASK to deliver meals to those in need in Princeton, Hightstown and Trenton.

7:00 AM – 1:00 PM Prepare and deliver meals. Cap and Gown Club, Princeton University

Dig Deep Fun Run/Walk for Digger & Derek

The Dig Deep Fun Run/Walk was established in June 2022 in honor of our dear friend Coach Steve “Digger” Digregorio who passed away in the fall of 2021. “Digger” coached Jason and his teammates at Princeton before embarking on a distinguished career as a HS coach in NJ. He won the NJ HS Coach of the Year in 2020 at Nutley HS. He was a smart, tough and demanding coach who always brought out the best in his players both on and off the field. He cared deeply about his players. He believed strongly in his players. He made them better players. He made them better men. We were fortunate to have him coach with us at our camp from the Day 1. We are eternally grateful for his impact on all of us and for his friendship. The funds raised from the 1st Annual Dig Deep Fun Run supported the Digregorio family. Sadly, Digger’s beloved son Derek Passed away in 2025 and we now do the Dig Deep Fun Run/Walk in honor of both Digger and Derek.
