Starfish Leadership Academy

The Starfish Story tells us that we all have the ability to make an impact in this world. If we put our minds to it, we can affect change. The vision of the Starfish Leadership Academy is to help high school student-athletes become change agents who will make a transformational impact on their schools and in their communities, now and in the future. We have the privilege and duty of passing on wisdom and creating experiences that will empower our student-athletes to maximize their high school experience and create unlimited opportunities when they graduate. We also strive to inspire them to be positive influences and contributing members of society. 

Our life journey of trials and tribulations coupled with our background as educators, uniquely positions us to lead the special group of student-athletes who participate in our Academy. We share relatable real-life experiences that we have gone through in various stages of our personal and professional development. These experiences have been reflected upon with intention and purpose. Our goal is to convey the lessons we have learned to help our student-athletes develop a road map to success. With each cohort, our network grows stronger and our ability to make an impact becomes wider and deeper in our partner schools and communities.
